KATHLEEN CHAPLIN ~ a/k/a the Neuteress of the Night, NeuterNeuterLand USA (also Roanoke, Texas) has been involved in animal advocacy work for over 15 years. Kathleen has been featured by Best Friends Sanctuary Magazine in "Tails of the Great Southwest" and was honored by Cat Fancy Magazine in their April 2001 issue as an Unsung Hero. Not only is Kat an extraordinary force when it comes to spay/neuter education, but her unparalleled style and creativity raises her message over and above "traditional" spay/neuter advocacy. Her unique style of "neuter humor" cuts through the apathy, misconceptions and misinformation that society at large has about the sterilization of companion animals. And her humorous approach works! Both her nonprofit site, Ahimsa of Texas, and this site, Meowsville.com, which was created to help nonprofits raise awareness and spay/neuter funds, are dedicated to spay/neuter education and promotion in a fresh, lively and unforgettable way. As President of Ahimsa of Texas, a 501-C Texas nonprofit, Kat donates her time and talents to traveling the country attending national humane conferences where she tables the Neuteress of the Night spay/neuter "tricks of the trade." In addition to her spay/neuter work, Kat also has an extensive network within the animal rescue community on both a national and local level, and is the author of "The Missed Fix", a humorous Ogden Nash type approach in typical Neuteress style, and "The Pet Store Pup's Mother," a poem intended to highlight the plight of victims of greed in America puppy mill industry. ALICE ODELL, mother of the Neuteress, is the most conservative resident of NeuterNeuterLand. In her mid 80's she can run circles around everyone. She taught her daughter well, by having the family cats spay/neutered in the early 50's when Kat was just a kid. Alice's, or Mado as Kat calls her, is the best mom on the planet and in addition to her being the Leaky Billy Belly Band Seamstress Extraordinaire, she keeps the Meowsville Kats (Kat & Bekye) going by cooking the best food in the world. "Alice's Restaurant" would positively make you drool! Alice is very well known in the Roanoke & Keller area as the Queen of Brownie Points for her unexpected visits to the merchants and doctors, vets, and pharmacist with brownies to die for. Alice also cares for the NeuterNeuterLand Cat Clan: Oscar, Meyer, Gracyn and Calhoun, the four family tabbies.

BILLY B. LEAKY, Belly Band Mogul and Official Mascot of the Castration Café, spent the first five years of his life in a puppy mill cage, sick and broken both in body and spirit. He survived chronic urinary tract infections, physical and emotional abuse, and neglect as stud for a 'miller'. Billy was rescued, rehabilitated and now thoroughly enjoys life and his status as a Neuteress Sidekick. However, having survived neglect so severe that it left him chronically incontinent and toothless, which is why that adorable tongue hangs out all the time, Billy's condition highlighted the need for products to assist older and disabled pets and their people. And so, the Leaky Billy Belly Band was born! When not supervising Belly Band production or showing off his spiffy "Nutless But Not Gutless" doggie tee, Billy's favorite occupation is removing all small objects within his reach and hiding them from their rightful owners. Billy's mom, Bekye Walker, lovingly cares for his every need and currently resides in Wisconsin where she also spreads the responsible guardianship of companion animals, ban puppymills, and spay neuter messages.
